Read / Tell a Story:

Requirements:
Time to do:30 min.
Cost:$0-$10
Materials:1 Reading Book
Rating:3.6 / 5

Reading a good book is fun for the whole family. Though it may be hard for the entire family to get together for half an hour or so each day, I feel it is very important.

Just sit down in squishy chairs and read away! Short books are fun to read if you have small children, but if they are old enough sometimes it's very fun to read novels such as the Harry Potter books, The Chronicles of Narnia, or anything else you might be interested in.

Family Members can take turns reading or you can have a dedicated reader.

If you have a creative family you can all take part in telling a story. Pick someone to start the story and let them tell it for 3-5 minutes then stop them. The next person has to continue the story from where they left off. Continue until the story is ended.

If it helps you can pop some popcorn to snack on. Cheese and Crackers or fruit make good snacks for this too. Probably nothing too messy if you are going to be passing the book around :)
