Communication is so important in a family. This activity keeps everyone informed and can be quite entertaining.
A family Newsletter is easy to make. It contains a list of events for the upcoming week or month-depending on how often you print a new one. Below are some things you might include:
1. List of Upcoming Events
2. Jokes or Riddles
3. Coupons for Treats
4. Short Paragraph about each family member's week/month.
5. Note from Dad or Mom.
6. A comic strip
7. A crossword or other puzzle
8. Recipes for Breakfast
9. Quotes
10. Notices/Warnings: 'Be careful when washing dishes, sometimes the nozzle sprays straight out.'
11. Vacation Photos
12. Contact information for Schools, Work Offices, Emergency etc.
You can make great looking pages with modern Word Processors. Usually a family newsletter would be a single page, but if you are ambitious you might make it longer.
If you have extended family that might be interested you could send them a copy of your Family Newsletter. Then Grandma and Grandpa would know what their grandchildren are up to!
