Materials:   1 Dry Erase Board
1 or more Markers for it
Rated: 3.1 / 5

Instructions:

A Compliment Board is exactly what it sounds like it should be! Anyone can write a Compliment on it about anyone in the house for everyone to see.

Using a permanent marker, label the Dry Erase Board with "Compliment Board" or a quote from someone. You can, of course, decorate the board with other permanent markers.

Hang the Compliment Board where everyone can see it (Near the fridge is a good place :). When someone does something that deserves a compliment someone can write it on the board.

Once a week, or whenever the board gets full, you can read them all aloud. Then erase the board for the next round.

Compliments can be like these:

'Kaleb took the trash out without being asked, Thanks!'
'Juan did his homework before he went to play'
'Mom cooked a perfect dinner'
'April and Matt washed the car for Dad'
'Thank You to whoever made my bed this morning'
'Mark got two A's on his Report Card'
'Thanks for doing the dishes, Kayla'

It's fun to see how fast you can fill up the board with compliments. It helps the family look for good things others are doing.

You could have a weekly prize for each person who had at least one compliment on the board that week. Something like their favorite Candy Bar.
