Many hours of my childhood were spent playing board games with friends and family. With so many from which to choose, I'm sure there is one that your family will love.

My family played one on many, many occastions called The Farming Game. I discovered it while playing with a friend at his grandmother's home. It was back in a closet in one of her unused bedrooms. We dug it out and blew off the dust (hee hee) and had hours and hours of fun.

As soon as I got home I checked all over the internet for one and couldn't find it. After a few weeks a guy on Ebay was selling one! Yay! So I bought it. My family played it once a month for years on end after that.

Since then a remake version of the original has been made so it shouldn't be too hard to find a copy.

My point of this rather long story is that board games are a great way to have fun as a family. Most are suitable for a wide range of ages, allow many people to play, and are very entertaining.
